Premier League odds and preview

With the Premier League running into its newest edition, it's time to take a look at some of the matches that will be coming up this weekend. All of our odds come from Everygame sportsbook.

Aston Villa vs. Newcastle

Newcastle will be taking on Aston Villa in their first match with each other since Newcastle took a 1-0 win back on 23 February. Newcastle is hoping to get its first win through an effort from newcomer Emmanuel Riviere and has a 2.80 line. Aston Villa is very close at 2.50 with a lineup that Paul Lambert adjusted with depth in mind above all else. A 3.30 is listed for a draw here.

Crystal Palace vs. West Ham

Crystal Palace avoided relegation by finishing in 11th while being twelve points over relegation last season. Considering how the team has been stable for the most part, the side may be in the need to just survive once again. The Joel Ward -led defence will be the most critical aspect for a team with 2.40 odds. West Ham United is only at 3.00 but the team's strong possession skills may be a part of what gives the side a chance. This close match called for a 3.20 line for a draw.

Everton vs. Arsenal

Everton is coming off a disappointing draw with Leicester. The side has dealt with many penalty side issues in the last few years and is listed at 2.70. Arsenal is at 2.60 for a tight match although the Gunners are still concerned about Theo Walcott and whether he is fully ready to get going after a ligament injury last year. Arsenal has certainly not forgotten about the side's 3-0 loss to Everton back in April.

Chelsea vs. Leicester City

Anyone who wants to bet on this match may want to be extremely adventurous. While Chelsea is listed at 1.16, Leicester is in at 17.0. While Leicester City is in the Premier League for the first time in about a decade, the side started out with a 2-2 draw to Everton and the duo of Danny Drinkwater and Matty James could help the Foxes. Whether they will anywhere near Chelsea's experienced guard withEden Hazard and Oscar is extremely uncertain. A 6.50 is also listed for a draw.

Hull City vs. Stoke City

Hull City has struggled with scoring goals in the past but the Tigers' 1-0 win over QPR last weekend may develop a sense of momentum. The addition of Bojan Krkic could prove to be a big advantage for Stoke though. Hull is listed at 2.40 while Stoke is on 3.10 and a draw is listed at 3.10.

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

In what is clearly going to be the biggest match of the weekend, Man City will be looking forward to getting back after a 3-2 loss to Liverpool back in April. Yaya Toure is expected to take the lead but David Silva is also expected to be a strong performer as Man City has a 1.80 advantage. Liverpool is listed at 4.20 but the Reds will go after a 4-2-3-1 attack. This comes with Luis Suarez being absent from the Reds for the time being. A 3.75 line is being listed for a draw.

Plan For the Weekend

This weekend is expected to be filled with plenty of close matches and good bets. Whether this can be said for Leicester fans who are just thrilled to be here is unclear.
